Premise

Learn to "think like an artist." Artists simply view the world in a fundamentally different way. When the rest of us can tap into their unique means of mining and expressing ideas, we access our own "creative superpowers" and unleash these forces to advance our own professional/creative development.

Program

Through a series of artistic exercises, our creative workshops will jumpstart your right brain, and jolt your creative mojo. Borrowing techniques from some of the most successful artists in modern times, our imaginative hands-on sessions will enhance your ability to see the world — and business challenges — in a radically new way.

Performance

A CV workshop unlocks a company's dominant logic** -- thereby freeing executives and high potentials to: unleash their most fearless, creative, instincts, explore new tools for creative thinking, and examine the value of "feeding one's soul" as well as the personal commitment to improve one's contribution to the planet.

** (Definition of dominant logic): The philosophy which locks a company into thinking about making money in only one way.

On site Workshops

At corporate headquarters, conference centers, or hotel properties, Creative Voltage® Workshops provide high-energy challenges to some of the most competitive business executives in the world. All of this, using contemporary art – specifically abstract painting – as an experiential learning tool. Lonnie's results-driven programs lead executives and staff to discover new avenues of problem–solving and innovation. We custom design our sessions to match your goals and incorporate the core values of your company. Recent studies show: when our right brains are fully stimulated, our minds are prone to bursts of energy, allowing us to invent life-changing products, create artistic masterpieces, and tackle pressing world challenges.

Off-site Workshops

We sometimes take the board room out to the junkyard – or, we build our own. (See above.) We take guests to some of the most unlikely spaces, where we find extraordinary visual stimulation: anywhere from lush landscapes and ocean views to funky local salvage yards, service kitchens, or construction sites. Creative Voltage® exercises inspire radical thinking and fresh ideas – based on the principles and philosophies of history's greatest artists, scientists, and inventors. Participants explore the meaning and application of abstract thinking, and how it becomes a metaphor and solution for daily tasks.

Private

Quite often creative learning can be best explored in more intimate settings, with with a small group of business partners, clients, or family. We've seen impressive results with all three. Truth is, everyone, no matter how accomplished, can benefit from unlocking the secret code to creative potential. Creative Voltage® Workshops can even inspire analytical, left-brain thinkers to "think like an artist" – in groundbreaking, unexpected ways. Lonnie's wide range of cultural and business experiences, coupled with her natural talent as a clear communicator, make her an exceptionally effective "Creative Muse."

GE: Jack Welch Leadership Center

There's a reason GE consistently earns the title of "Most Innovative Company" each year. The world's largest industrial corporation inspires its leaders with extraordinary hands-on experiences in disparate fields. Creative Voltage had the privilege of working with several levels of GE management, cultivating creative and artistic thought for efficient business solutions.

FORTUNE Innovation Forum
sponsored by Adobe

In the iconic lobby of Lincoln Center Jazz, Lonnie and her crew constructed a massive junk sculpture made from consumer trash, nicknamed "Innovation Junktion." As an exercise in stimulating the right brain, attending conference executives were asked to extract ideas "from the whole" onto canvas.
